Everything went according to plan when first ranked Pichincha (7-2) outscored at home 3rd placed CAN Oruro (5-4) 85-62 on Thursday. Pichincha looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The former international swingman Jose Perez (191-2000) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American swingman Eric Lovett (196, college: FIU) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds. Four Pichincha players scored in double figures.
