There was a minor upset when their close opponent LSB (3-8) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Blumenau (4-6) 91-74 on Thursday. Blumenau looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The former international swingman Leila Zabani (181-1991) fired 26 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. Forward Luana Batista (178-1991) chipped in 26 points.
