Regular Season Round 6: Alemana P. - Larr Valdivia 80-46

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Alemana P. as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Alemana P. smashed bottom-ranked Larr Valdivia in Paillaco 80-46. Alemana P. dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Larr Valdivia's 32. Alemana P. forced 27 Larr Valdivia turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Larr Valdivia's players. The former international center Tatiana Gomez (192-1981) had a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 20 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Anahi Moran (168-1996) chipped in 11 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Alemana P. have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Univ.Concepcion and Frontera. Larr Valdivia at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost.
