The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Asuncion: San Jose (#1) and Felix Perez (#3). San Jose (10-0) smashed visiting Felix Perez (6-4) by 33 points 95-62. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Felix Perez. San Jose dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Felix Perez's 38. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Felix Perez's players. Argentinian forward Franco Benitez (199-1994) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Fernando Dose (200-1994) chipped in 15 points during the contest.
