An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Bucaramanga. Third ranked Bucaros faced 4th ranked Motilones. Host Bucaros (6-2) defeated guests from Cucuta (1-6) 83-75. Bucaros dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Motilones' 28. They outrebounded Motilones 33-22 including 24 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Stalin Ortiz (190-1981, college: Valpo) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Argentinian guard Alejo Montes (191-1991) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Bucaros players scored in double figures. Bucaros' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Argentinian point guard Joaquin Valinotti (185-1998) produced 30 points and American-Panamanian point guard CJ Rodriguez (188-1994, college: S.Nazarene) added 20 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) respectively for the guests.
