There was no surprise in Asuncion where 5th ranked Colonias G. (6-5) was crushed by leader San Jose (11-0) 96-57 on Thursday. San Jose dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Colonias G.'s 24. San Jose forced 22 Colonias G. turnovers and outrebounded them 40-25 including a 33-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Colonias G.'s players. It was a great evening for the former international forward Alejandro Peralta (195-1991, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 7 steals. Argentinian Tobias Gomez helped adding 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four San Jose players scored in double figures.
