Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: Hebraica (#5) and Yale (#6). Hebraica (5-2) crushed visiting Yale (2-4) by 19 points 62-43. Hebraica forced 32 Yale turnovers and outrebounded them 42-31 including a 20-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Center Melisa Techera (180-1999) nailed a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side and Argentinian Abril Ramirez (167-2000) accounted for 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Argentinian point guard Julieta Sienra (161-2003) came up with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Florencia Carretero (-2004) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Yale in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Hebraica. They maintain fifth place with 5-2 record. Yale at the other side keeps the sixth position with four games lost.
