Rather expected game in Caracas where 7th ranked Gigantes (8-18) were defeated by fifth ranked Spartans (15-11) 86-76 on Sunday. Spartans looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Will Davis II (203-1992, college: UC Irvine) who scored 21 points and 8 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Ramon Galloway (190-1991, college: La Salle) chipped in 15 points and 5 assists. American point guard DaQuan Brooks (177-1990, college: W.Connecticut) produced 27 points and American-Puerto Rican forward Jonathan Ocasio (196-1992, college: New Haven) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Spartans maintains fifth place with 15-11 record. Gigantes lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the seventh position with 18 games lost.
