No shocking result in a game when second ranked Titanes (8-2) crushed bottom-ranked Corsarios (0-9) in Cartagena 74-50 on Sunday. Titanes forced 20 Corsarios turnovers. Panamanian Josimar Ayarza (205-1987, college: Southern Miss) nailed 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and Argentinian Jose Defelippo (186-1997) accounted for 15 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Carlos Morales (192) came up with 19 points and 7 rebounds and Beiker Anez added 14 points and 13 rebounds respectively for Corsarios in the defeat. Corsarios' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the third consecutive win for Titanes. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Piratas. Corsarios lost their ninth game in a row. They still close the standings with nine games lost.
