An interesting game for Sesi/Arara. (11-1) which hosted in Araraquara 3rd ranked Santo Andre (7-5). First ranked Sesi/Arara. had an easy win 77-41. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Santo Andre. Sesi/Arara. forced 27 Santo Andre turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Santo Andre's players. It was a good game for the former international power forward Aline Moura (185-1997) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. The former international forward Jaqueline Silvestre (178-1986) contributed with 22 points for the winners. Sesi/Arara.'s coach Joao Camargo felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international forward Vanessa Goncalves (185-1994) replied with 9 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Evelyn Mariano (180-1997) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Santo Andre. Sesi/Arara. have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 11-1 record. Santo Andre at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. Sesi/Arara. are looking forward to face league's second-placed Sampaio in Sampaio Basquete in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Santo Andre will play on the road against Catanduva in Caranduva and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
