A very close game took place in Bogota between Bogota and Cundinamarca. Fourth ranked Bogota (4-6) got a very close home victory over their close opponent Cundinamarca (5-5). Bogota managed to escape with a 1-point win 53-52 on Thursday evening. Angela Ibanez fired 13 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Guard Carolina Giraldo (-1993) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds. Maria Ortiz (-2003) produced 20 points and forward Isabella Mosquera (180-2004) added 5 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Despite that victory Bogota went down to fifth position due to points difference. Cundinamarca lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the second place with five games lost. They share the position with Huila and Caqueta. Bogota's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Bogota Guerreros.
