Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: D.Sporting (#3) and 25 de Agosto (#2). D.Sporting (8-1) crushed visiting 25 de Agosto (7-2) by 20 points 78-58. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of 25 de Agosto. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Argentinian guard Rocio Bereilh (165-2001) came up with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of her seven free throws) and Sabrina Molina (179-1998) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for 25 de Agosto in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. D.Sporting keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Malvin. 25 de Agosto at the other side dropped to the third place with two games lost. They share the position with Hebraica. D.Sporting's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Yale.
