Very expected game when 7th ranked Tomas L. (1-6) was smashed by second ranked Colo Colo (6-1) in Santiago 91-48 on Sunday. Colo Colo dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Tomas L.'s 20. They outrebounded Tomas L. 47-29 including a 33-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Colo Colo looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The winners were led by forward Lucas Thiebaut (-1999) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and Martin Gomez supported him with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Even 20 points by forward Andres Lavin (-1995) did not help to save the game for Tomas L.. Argentinian forward Fabricio Cosolito (199-1993, agency: BIG) added 9 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Colo Colo have an impressive five-game winning streak.
