The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Reales (8-3) in La Vega on Tuesday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Indios (8-6) 91-83. Indios made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward JD Miller (203-1996, college: TCU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 16 rebounds and Michael Moore who added 20 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Indios' coach Victor Ortega used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Gelvis Solano (185-1994, college: Merrimack) responded with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and American forward Raphiael Putney (207-1990, college: UMass) scored 23 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Indios moved-up to third place. Reales at the other side still keep top position with three games lost. They share it with Leones.
