The most important game in the last round took place in San German between second ranked Atleticos (21-14) and fifth ranked Leones (17-19) on Thursday night. Atleticos were defeated by Leones in a tough game at home 88-92. Leones made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Jezreel De Jesus (185-1991, agency: Interperformances) who scored 29 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American center Thomas Robinson (208-1991, college: Kansas) chipped in 23 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (201-1995, college: Arizona) who recorded a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 13 rebounds and 8 assists and power forward Josue Erazo (204-1995, college: PR-Rio Piedras) added 20 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Leones have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Carolina and Mayaguez. Atleticos at the other side keep the second position with 14 games lost.
