Regular Season Round 9: Stadio Italiano - Sergio Ceppi 72-76

Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Santiago: Sergio Ceppi (#2) and Stadio Italiano (#3). Stadio Italiano was defeated at home 72-76 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Sergio Ceppi forced 19 Stadio Italiano turnovers. They shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. It was a good game for Camilo Figueroa (-1995) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Boris Guerra (-1987) contributed with 22 points and 6 steals for the winners. Four Sergio Ceppi players scored in double figures. They maintain second place having just two point less than leader Liceo PN, which they share with Colo Colo. Stadio Italiano at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. They share it with Municipal C.. Sergio Ceppi will play against league's leader Sportiva Italiana in Valparaiso in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
