Regular Season Round 4: Stockolmo - Colon 79-74

The most surprising game was the first loss of undefeated Colon (2-1) in Montevideo on Monday night. Visitors were defeated by fourteenth ranked Stockolmo (2-2) 79-74. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Colon. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Facundo Terra (185-1998) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 9 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!). Argentinian power forward Jose Peralta (202-1995) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Stockolmo's coach Andres Borroni used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American power forward Quinterian McConico (203-1995, college: AAMU) replied with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Andres Aristimuno (184-1992) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Colon. Stockolmo moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Colon at the other side dropped to the third position with one game lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Stockolmo's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Atenas.
