Very important is a home loss of second ranked Libertadores (12-4) against sixth ranked Fuerza Regia (8-6) on Thursday night. Host Libertadores were defeated by Fuerza Regia in Queretaro 72-55. Fuerza Regia outrebounded Libertadores 47-34 including 37 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Kaila Charles (185-1998, college: Maryland) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Brazilian forward Damiris Dantas (191-1992) who added 13 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Fuerza Regia's coach Juan Jose Pidal allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Italian forward Marzia Tagliamento (183-1996) responded with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Marie Benson (185-1997, college: UT Arlington) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Fuerza Regia moved-up to fifth place. Libertadores at the other side keep the second position with four games lost. Fuerza Regia will play against higher ranked Adelitas (#4) in Chihuahua in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Libertadores will play on the road against the league's leader Panteras in Aguascalientes and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
