Astros de Jalisco claimed CIBACOPA title. They outgunned Hermosillo in Game 6 of the championship series to conquer the trophy. Astros looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Astros made 11 blocks. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Shamorie Ponds (185-1998, college: St.John's) scored 24 points and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Jordan Loveridge (198-1993, college: Utah) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Jimond Ivey (196-1996, college: Akron) with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Terrence Drisdom (196-1992, college: CPP) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds.
