Very expected game in Jalisco where 8th ranked Plateras (7-11) were defeated by third ranked Astros (14-4) 76-64 on Friday. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Brooke McCarty-Williams (163-1995, college: Texas) fired 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Forward Joy Adams (180-1993, college: Iona) chipped in 10 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Center Vionise Pierre-Louis (193-1995, college: Oklahoma) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and swingman Jazmine Jones (183-1996, college: Louisville) added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of her twelve free throws !!!) respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Astros have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Panteras.
