Rather predictable result in San Fernando where third ranked Municipal C. (5-5) defeated 6th ranked Tomas L. (2-7) 71-62 on Sunday. Municipal C. dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Tomas L.'s 16. Municipal C. forced 21 Tomas L. turnovers and outrebounded them 41-27 including a 34-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was center Matias Villagran (199-1988) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Esteban Viveros (173-1986) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. Four Municipal C. players scored in double figures.
