Regular Season Round 9: Stingerz - Spanish Heat 100-67

Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Spanish Heat (2-10) was rolled over on the road by second ranked Stingerz (10-3) 100-67 on Monday. Stingerz dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Spanish Heat's 40. Stingerz forced 25 Spanish Heat turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Spanish Heat's players. The best player for the winners was Jayden Andrew who had a triple-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals. The former international forward Jamine Charles (211-2002, college: Blinn JC) chipped in 23 points and 9 rebounds. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Gabriel Perez who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and Steven Matthew added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Stingerz. Despite that victory Stingerz went down to third position due to points difference. Newly promoted Spanish Heat stay at the bottom place with ten games lost. They share the position with Slam and Braves. Stingerz will meet at home league's leader Potters S. in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Spanish Heat will have a break next round.
