Metropolitan top team - Urunday (7-1) added another victory to their record. This time they beat tenth ranked Stockolmo (3-5) in Montevideo 94-89. They outrebounded Stockolmo 57-40 including a 20-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Urunday players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a quality performance for American power forward Charles Mitchell (203-1993, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Slash Sports) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Diego Garcia (186-1992) accounted for 16 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists for the winning side. Four Urunday players scored in double figures.
