Very predictable result in Aguascalientes where second ranked Panteras (15-4) defeated bottom-ranked Abejas (2-17) 76-66 on Saturday. Panteras forced 19 Abejas turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was Latvian center Kristine Vitola (196-1991, college: UTEP) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists. American forward Samantha Fuehring (191, college: Louisville) chipped in 19 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Four Panteras players scored in double figures. Panteras' coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Dana Soto (167-1997) who recorded 22 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Tylar Bennett (193-1999, college: ECU) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively.
