Lagomar can celebrate finally their first win this season after seven consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as they edged much higher ranked U.Atletica (5-3) on the road game in Montevideo 87-86 on Friday. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Federico Haller (200-1988) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 13 rebounds and American swingman Mark Gordon (196, college: Keiser) who added 20 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. Lagomar's coach Alejandro Muro used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was Sebastian Ottonello (200-1997) with 22 points and 6 rebounds and Lithuanian center Zygimantas Riauka (206-1993, college: UW-Parkside) scored 11 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Four U.Atletica players scored in double figures. Lagomar maintains fifteenth position with 1-7 record, which they share with Verdirrojo.
