There was no surprise when 7th ranked Larr Valdivia (1-9) was crushed at home by second ranked Puerto Montt (8-3) 86-56 on Sunday. Puerto Montt dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Larr Valdivia's 38. Puerto Montt forced 28 Larr Valdivia turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Larr Valdivia's players. Center Catalina Azocar (-1997) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners and center Analia Mendez (180-2004) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field).
