Leading Villa Nueva (7-2) recorded its second loss at the home court. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Jaguares (5-4) 53-49. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Villa Nueva. Jaguares had a 36-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for Luke Garrison who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 20 rebounds and 4 blocks. Jasson Sagastume accounted for 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Enrique Samayoa (196-1982) came up with 23 points and 8 rebounds and Bryan Mencos (-1999) added 7 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Villa Nueva in the defeat. Jaguares maintains third place with 5-4 record having just three point less than leader Halcones. Villa Nueva at the other side dropped to the second position with two games lost.
