Regular Season Round 11: Halcones - Delfines 91-48

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Halcones as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Halcones smashed 5th ranked Delfines at home 91-48. Halcones dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Delfines' 30. They outrebounded Delfines 50-25 including a 34-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for point guard David Monterroso (180-1979) who led his team to a victory scoring 32 points and 9 rebounds (on 15-of-19 shooting from the field). The former international swingman Miguel Gonzalez (187-1990) helped adding 22 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists. Augusto Paredes responded with 25 points and Andres Belisle scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Halcones (7-1) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Delfines at the other side dropped to the bottom place with seven games lost. They share the position with Dark Knights.
