Round in LNF means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Temuco where host Frontera (9-1) edged league's leader Univ.Concepcion (8-1) 62-61 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Univ.Concepcion. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The best player for the winners was the former international Josefina Viafora (185-1999) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points, 21 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international forward Daniela Troncoso (178-1987) chipped in 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. The former international forward Barbara Cousino (178-1996) produced 24 points and 5 rebounds and Colombian-Argentinian center Malvina D'Agostino (184-2001) added 11 points and 16 rebounds respectively for the guests. Frontera have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader. Univ.Concepcion at the other side dropped to the second place with one game lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by CDSC.
