Regular Season Round 14: Cerrado - Mogi 60-71

Bottom-ranked Cerrado (0-11) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 71-60 loss to eleventh ranked Mogi (7-4) in Brasilia on Wednesday evening. Center Gustavo Luiz (198-2002) had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Iago Mendes (196-2003) chipped in 11 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Five Mogi players scored in double figures. Mogi's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Eduardo Motta (187-2003) responded with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Magno Alves Faria (193-2001) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Mogi moved-up to tenth place, which they share with UniFacisa. Loser Cerrado still closes the standings with 11 games lost.
