The most surprising game was a loss of Paschoalotto/Bauru in Sao Paulo on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Corinthians 84-80. The former international guard Caue Borges (187-1991) scored 22 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Elinho Corazza (191-1989, college: Miami Dade CC) chipped in 17 points and 9 assists during the contest. Guard Gemadinha Sacco (183-1997) responded with 30 points and 6 assists and naturalized American point guard Larry Taylor (183-1980, college: MWSU) scored 14 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
