Moca recorded a loss at the home court. Hosts were edged by Hatillo 68-65. Hatillo dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Moca's 32. American forward Dariauna Lewis (185-2000, college: Syracuse, agency: Agency) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 16 rebounds. The other American import guard Adrienne Godbold (180-1991, college: Illinois) contributed with 21 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Godbold is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American forward Alexis Jennings (190-1996, college: S.Carolina) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and international guard Jacqueline Benitez (178-1997, college: JMU) added 17 points and 4 steals in the effort for Moca. Hatillo will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Moca will play on the road against Pollitas in Isabela and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
