The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montevideo: D.Sporting (#4) and Hebraica (#6). D.Sporting (3-3) won against visiting Hebraica (1-5) 70-59. They outrebounded Hebraica 47-36 including 34 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was guard Natasha Dolinsky (173-1997, college: Lincoln, MO) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Argentinian center Ornela Bacchini (188-1989, college: OLLU) chipped in 13 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Four D.Sporting players scored in double figures. D.Sporting's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Argentinian Giuliana Baccarelli produced 11 points and 6 assists and forward Martina Marino (170-2005) added 9 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the guests. D.Sporting moved-up to third place. Hebraica lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with five games lost. D.Sporting's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena 25 de Agosto.
