Regular Season Round 10: Carolina - Lares 60-62

The most exciting game of round 10 in the BSNF took place in Carolina. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of much higher ranked Gigantes (6-4) to eighth ranked Lares (1-11) 62-60 on Tuesday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Gigantes. Americans were the main players on the court. Forward DaNasia Hood (185, college: Texas St., agency: Shark Sports Management) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Mykea Gray (163-1998, college: Miami, FL) chipped in 16 points during the contest. At the losing side forward Teana Muldrow (188-1995, college: WVU) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Jill Townsend (180-1998, college: Gonzaga) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Lares maintains eighth position with 1-11 record. Gigantes at the other side keep the second place with four games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Lares are looking forward to face higher ranked Hatillo (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Gigantes will play against the league's second-placed Cangrejeras having rather not much hope for a victory.
