Second Stage Round 1: Pinheiros - Corinthians 82-80

First defeat of league's leader Corinthians against Pinheiros 82-80 was the most important game of the last round. Pinheiros made 26-of-32 free shots (81.3 percent) during the game, while Corinthians only scored eight points from the stripe. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Tiago Faria (178) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 4 assists (made all of his eight free throws). Point guard Adyel Borges (188-2002) contributed with 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Pinheiros' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Point guard Gabriel Campos (182-2001) answered with 36 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds and Jonathan Costa (193-2002) added 6 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Corinthians.
