The game between closely ranked teams ended with 9th ranked Tigres' (1-8) home loss to eighth ranked Indigenas (2-6) 61-72 on Friday. It was a great evening for Canadian swingman Zekiah Owens (197-1998, college: AIC) who led his team to a victory scoring 30 points and 7 rebounds. American guard Tylan Dean (185-1999, college: Rogers St.) helped adding 16 points and 16 rebounds. Cuban Emmanuel Calderon (198-1998) responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds and Dwight Real (-1997) scored 7 points and 12 rebounds. Indigenas maintains eighth place with 2-6 record. Tigres lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with eight games lost. Indigenas will meet bottom-ranked Rivas (#10) in the next round. Tigres will have a break next round.
