Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Santa Tecla: Teclenas (#4) and Santa Tecla Elite (#4). Teclenas (4-3) crushed visiting Santa Tecla Elite (4-3) by 19 points 57-38. Teclenas held Santa Tecla Elite to an opponent 20.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 35.7 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Santa Tecla Elite 58-33 including a 19-5 advantage in offensive rebounds.
