Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: Malvin (#1) and Hebraica (#5). Hebraica was crushed at home by 29 points 38-67 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Malvin forced 21 Hebraica turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Hebraica's players. Sabina Bello (173-1989) stepped up and scored 14 points for the winners and Argentinian Maria Jourdheuil (180-1994) chipped in 4 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was Argentinian Abril Ramirez (167-2000) with 9 points and 6 rebounds and guard Antonella Ugolini (170-2002) scored 9 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Malvin (9-0) have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 9 victories in a row.
