Very important is a road loss of third ranked Tabare (14-8) against seventh ranked Larranaga (12-10) on Tuesday night. Visiting Tabare was defeated by Larranaga in Montevideo 85-74. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Tabare. Strangely Tabare outrebounded Larranaga 48-0 including a 17- advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American forward DJ Foreman (203-1994, college: St.Louis) who scored 23 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Joaquin Jones (199-1997) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Octavio Medina (195-1996) produced 18 points and 7 rebounds and American Anthony Danridge (196-1986, college: N.Mexico) added 17 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Larranaga moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Sayago. Loser Tabare keeps the third position with eight games lost. They share it with Welcome.
