Everything went according to plan in Asuncion where third ranked Colonias (7-3) beat 5th ranked Felix Perez (3-7) 83-71 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Dominican Nehemias Morillo (197-1992, college: S.Florida) who scored 24 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Argentinian Lucas Landi chipped in 13 points and 6 assists. Five Colonias players scored in double figures. Colonias' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Stan Scott (193-1998, college: MSSU) produced 34 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international guard Leandro Ferreira (184-1994) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests.
