Regular Season Round 7: Astros - Halc.Rojos 96-82

Everything went according to plan in Guadalajara where second ranked Astros (11-3) won against 5th ranked Halcones Rojos (6-8) 96-82 on Sunday. Astros shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 51.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Jordan Loveridge (198-1993, college: Utah) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import guard Jeff Ledbetter (191-1988, college: Idaho, agency: Slash Sports) helped adding 13 points and 6 rebounds. Five Astros players scored in double figures. At the losing side Bahamas forward Tavario Miller (203-1994, college: Texas A&M) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and American guard Isaac Hamilton (196-1994, college: UCLA) scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Astros. Defending champion maintains second place with 11-3 record behind leader Panteras. Halcones Rojos lost their third game in a row. They keep the fifth position with eight games lost. They share it with Mineros and Plateros. Astros will meet Soles (#6) in the next round. Halcones Rojos will have a break next round.
