Puerto Rican power forward Owens Perez (206-1992) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Jorge Gonzalez (198-1995) chipped in 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). Four Caribbean Coast players scored in double figures. American guard Tylan Dean (185-1999, college: Rogers St.) produced 17 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals and his fellow American import guard Chris Moten-Jackson (190-1989, college: LA Pierce JC) added 21 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Caribbean Coast have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Brumas. Loser Indigenas keep the eighth position with ten games lost. Caribbean Coast's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Managua to the arena Jaguares.
