An exciting game was played in . Third ranked Real Esteli faced 4th placed Leonas. Guests from (10-4) defeated host Leonas (4-11) 77-69. Real Esteli players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a good game for the former international Anahya Hodgson (-2005) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 20 rebounds. American guard Janae Barnes (183-1995, college: Johnson CCC) contributed with 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Real Esteli players scored in double figures. American guard Jocelyn Taylor (183-1997, college: SEMO) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import forward Jessica Martino (175-2000, college: Delaware St.) added 23 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Leonas. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Real Esteli have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Tipitapa. Leonas at the other side keep the fourth place with 11 games lost. Real Esteli will play against league's second-placed Tipitapa in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
