Not a big story in a game in Mercedes where Riachuelo LR was defeated by Comunicaciones 78-68 on Saturday. Point guard Agustin Passone (180-2003) stepped up and scored 14 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners and guard Agustin Bruner (188-2004) chipped in 25 points. Five Comunicaciones players scored in double figures. At the losing side Fabricio Diaz responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and guard Jeremias Barco (-2005) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Comunicaciones will meet Platense in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Riachuelo LR will have a break next round.
