Liga WPlay top team - Titanes (9-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Condores (0-9) in Barranquilla 117-69. Titanes dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Condores' 42. They outrebounded Condores 49-32 including a 36-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Titanes players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Condores' players. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Dominican-Puerto Rican swingman Jonathan Rodriguez (196-1987, college: Campbell) stepped up and scored 23 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and the former international point guard Juan Cardenas (201-1997, college: Bryant) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American-Puerto Rican forward Jordan Glover (198-1996, college: TCNJ) with 17 points and guard Kevin Masquita scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
