Regular Season Round 3: Platense - Comunicaciones 92-70

The game in Florida supposed to be also quite interesting. Comunicaciones (2-2) played at the court of Platense (3-1). Platense smashed Comunicaciones 92-70 on Friday. Platense made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for Brazilian center Pedro Ianguas (210-1998) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eleven shots !!!). The former international Eric Flor (190-1993) accounted for 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Four Platense players scored in double figures. American point guard Keron DeShields (190-1992, college: Tennessee St., agency: Diamond Sports) came up with 19 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import guard Marcus Thomas (191-1995, college: Rosemont) added 14 points respectively for Comunicaciones in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
