Tipitapa forced 25 Real Esteli turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The former international forward Shannen Peralta (-2003) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Forward Clenia Salazar (-1987) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Four Tipitapa players scored in double figures. American forward Jade Compton (178, college: Presbyterian) produced 23 points and 9 rebounds and Honduran forward Nelly Rapalo (173-1999) added 13 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
