Not a big story in a game in La Rioja where 16th ranked Riachuelo LR (1-3) was defeated by leader Olimpico (4-0) 102-90 on Saturday. Olimpico shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 55.2 percentage. The best player for the winners was guard Juan Arengo (185-1996) who scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. The former international point guard Nicolas Aguirre (189-1988) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Five Olimpico players scored in double figures. Naturalized Spanish guard Jonathan Maldonado (188-1990) produced 23 points (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!) and American Anthony Young (200-1989, college: KWC) added 19 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) respectively for the hosts.
