Very expected game in Comodoro Rivadavia where bottom-ranked Olimpico (0-5) was rolled over by leader Gimnasia CR (6-0) 116-82 on Friday. Gimnasia CR dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Olimpico's 46. Gimnasia CR forced 21 Olimpico turnovers and outrebounded them 34-21 including 23 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Olimpico's players. Dominican swingman Angel Reyes (201-2002) stepped up and scored 32 points and 9 rebounds (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field) for the winners and guard Ramiro Stehli (190-2002) chipped in 20 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Gimnasia CR's coach Gustavo Sapochnik felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest.
