Sixth-ranked Soles (7-18) gave a tough game to first ranked Libertadores (19-7) in Mexicali on Friday. The visitors from Queretaro managed to secure only two-point victory 81-79. However their fans expected much easier game. Libertadores outrebounded Soles 29-18 including 22 on the defensive glass. American point guard Tyrik Armstrong (178-1998, college: Texas Southern, agency: MSG) fired 23 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners.
